Dear Saints, This anointed message was sent to me a few days ago by Mary Grady. I have no idea who the author is, but he or she sure can speak the Truth. Gene

It’s so hard!

———Transformation

EVERY MUSCLE, TISSUE, and cell in your body today is different than it was seven years ago.  Every strand of hair you have today is different.  Every toenail and fingernail you have today are not the same ones you had just a few months ago.  Today, you are totally different in every physiological sense than you were three, five, or seven short years ago.  The question is, how different is your mind?

Each moment, your physical body changes without any input on your part.  Your mind, however, is a completely different issue.  You must work to change your mind.  You must be willing to release past pains, past regrets, and ancient resentments.  You must be willing to let go of hostility, anger, and judgments about experiences and people.  The people in your past, like you, have also changed. They have new hair, new tissues, new cells, new toenails and fingernails!  It is up to you, however, to see them in a new light . . . even when it looks like they are doing the same thing.  The only thing that will keep you stuck in the past with old experiences, useless emotions, and worn-out habits is your mind.  Fortunately, you have the ability to change your mind to match everything else that is new about you.

You are renewed!  Now change your mind!

POST SCRIPT: The author didn’t say it directly in his message, but you and I both know that our minds are renewed by the Word of God. By the way, if I don’t respond to your E-mails in a timely manner Monday it is because I have decided to take Mondays off. I won’t go online until 6 p.m. each Monday.

Ignoring The Wrongs by Gene McGuire Nov. 1-Nov. 8, 2009

COMMENT: I am still in the process of getting things rearranged in my house after the renovation. I’m very fortunate to have a young man named John who has been giving me a helping hand. He’s been available on his days off from his job and has always been punctual. A few weeks ago he really let me down. He had promised to come by at 9 a.m. to cut my grass while I worked on the “mess” in the house. I called him twice, at 10 and 11 a.m, but his cell phone was turned off. Around 5:30 p.m. I received a call from him telling me that he was having a great time at a picnic. I have learned not to speak when I am upset, so I made an excuse to cut that conversation short. I was fuming, thinking of how I could express my dissatisfaction short of fisticuffs.(You see I’m chicken!)
Seriously, I went to bed very upset. When I woke up in the morning the Holy Spirit had changed my mind. I was reminded of The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant where his master forgave him of a huge debt, but that forgiven servant had a fellow servant put in jail because of a meager amount owed to him. (Matthew 18:23) I thought about all the sins my Heavenly Father has forgiven me; how can I hold this minor infraction against my brother in the Lord? I immediately called John and let him know that I forgave him. I then told him that I would appreciate it if he would just give me notice if he can’t make any assignment.

SCRIPTURE STUDY:Matthew 6:12, Luke 6:37, 17:3
WISE SAYING:THINK DEEP BEFORE YOU LEAP.

ARE YOU IN THE CLEAR? by Elaine Davenport Monday October 5, 2009

THE MESSAGE BIBLE IS MORE CLEAR:

Seven Things God Hates

16-19 Here are six things God hates,
and one more that he loathes with a passion:
eyes that are arrogant,
a tongue that lies,
hands that murder the innocent,
a heart that hatches evil plots,
feet that race down a wicked track,
a mouth that lies under oath,
a troublemaker in the family.  PROVERBS 6

———————————————————————————————————————————————–

It is really easy to sin.  Look around you.  But, amongst the brethern who know better, it’s easy too if you aren’t careful.

The devil will find a way to get you in a bad place.  He’ll even convince you that your sin is alright; that it is an exception.

Examples:

Arrogant Eyes

He’ll make you think:  “I’m this!  I’m that!  I’ve done this!  I’m better than them.”  Don’t believe it.   That can cause arrogant eyes…ever so subtle.  It can be sen  in churches:  “I’ve been here this long…how long have youuuuuuuuuuu been here?”

A Lying Tongue…

Lying tongues are all around; all the time.  It’s contagious; pretty soon if you are not careful you’ll be exaggerating  ..I mean lying too.  Don’t join the liar’s club.  That’s a group of people who lie and they all know it but it’s okay.  It seems like such a trivial thing; but it’s not.  Ever met someone who has everything going for them except they make up huge whoppers?  I have.  If it’s not the total truth…it’s a lie!

Hands that murder the innocent…

Aside from the obvious, people in authority have a great responsibility…have you false accused someone, framed someone, lied about someone ruining their life or altering the course that God has for them? Have you ignored a  move in your spirit to help someone, minister to them, are your hands completely clean?

A Heart That Hatches Evil Plots

Perhaps you’ve been wronged and you want revenge…back out of it!  Vengeance belongs to God.  Tell no lies, create nothing unjustified against another, be right with God, forgive; lest that thing get mired down in your spirit causing you to think or be involved in the unthinkable!

Feet That race Into Mischief

Don’t let your feet put you in quicksand.

A mouth that lies under oath

Watch what you swear to or what you’ve sworn to.  I know people who swear to uphold this country; yet they undermine it in little small ways.  Have you been to court lately?  Well,  witnesses lie so much that they have to make them sit outside the courtroom while testimony goes on because that’s the only way the truth can be sorted.

A TROUBLEMAKER IN THE FAMILY

Many families have troublemakers.  Is it you?  This is not acceptable to God.  Are you a rumor started or do you sow negative discord?  If yes…you BETTER stop!

God loves you, but don’t make Him hate what you do; lest you be an abomination in His sight.  If you’ve missed the mark, please repent and ask Him to strengthen and heal you of these bad habits and transgressions.
