Mother’s operate with some kind of supernatural wisdom. We’ve all seen it time and again. And…they inspire us, uplift us, and push us to greatness….to be the best that we can be. They have God’s backing…I’m sure of it! It’s a great time to honor the mothers that God placed in our lives….and it’s a good idea to do it often! It’s no coincidence that a mother speaks with God’s inspiration and wisdom!
“WITH THE LOVE OF GOD, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD”
“….in the world ye shall have tribulation….” (John 16:33)
COMMENT: We could certainly paraphrase the above verse with the lyrics of a song of bygone days: “I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden.” But thank God there is more to John 16:33. Jesus goes on to say “be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” O.K., so everything doesn’t become “peaches and cream” as soon as we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior; but we have the Maker of the Universe on our side. He promises to be Jehovah-Jireh: the God Who sees and provides, Jehovah-Nissi: Our Banner of Victory, Jehovah-Shalom: Our peace, Jehovah-Shammah: God is there, Jehovah-Tsidkenu: Our Righteousness, and Jehovah-Rapha, Our Healer. And to top it off, He says “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) Now the time to prepare for hard times is not when hard times come. Build up your faith by being well grounded in the Word of God with daily applications. See how God has responded to others in their tribulations. . . .He’s not a respecter of persons. What He has done for others, He will do for you. (Acts 10:34)
